Can Dincer ist ein international führender Wissenschaftler auf dem Gebiet der Mikrosystemtechnik. Mit über 45 Veröffentlichungen und 4 Patenten ist seine Forschungsgruppe führend in der Entwicklung innovativer bioanalytischer Materialien, Sensoren und Mikrosystemen und deren Kombination mit Datenwissenschaft und künstliche Intelligenz für Diagnostik sowie für die Lebensmittel- und Umweltüberwachung. Seine Leistungen wurden mit zahlreichen Auszeichnungen gewürdigt, darunter der renommierte Adolf-Martens-Preis. Er ist ein Pionier auf dem Gebiet der CRISPR-Diagnostik und tragbare Atemgassensoren, und seine Arbeit hat das Potenzial, die patientennahe Diagnostik zu revolutionieren.
