Nach meinem Studium, das ich als Stipendiat der Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes an der Universität Witten/Herdecke, dem Imperial College London und der University of Cambridge absolvierte, promovierte ich an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Meine Facharztausbildung im Bereich der Radioonkologie habe ich an den Universitätskliniken in Essen und Düsseldorf abgeschlossen. Heute bin ich als Oberarzt für Strahlentherapie und Radioonkologie am Universitätsklinikum in Düsseldorf tätig.
